Outdoor Live Music & Weather Considerations

Outdoor string performances require temperatures above 60°F and cannot take place in rain, including light rain or drizzle. Extreme heat, cold, and humidity can affect the instruments, strings and bows impacting both their sound and their condition.

If rain is in the forecast, a designated indoor or fully weather-protected backup location must be arranged in advance. Moving and resetting instruments takes time, and unexpected weather changes can put valuable instruments at risk.

Our goal is always to provide a beautiful, seamless musical experience while protecting the instruments that make it possible. Having a weather plan in place helps ensure your celebration doesn't miss a beat.
